The Applied Chemistry Department organized a workshop on "The Use of the Professor System within the Bologna Framework: Roles, Duties, and the Rights and Obligations of Students."
The lectures were delivered by Assistant Lecturer Jasim Muhammad Jalil, Director of the Registration Department in the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering; Professor Dr. Khalida Farhan Suhail, Head of the Applied Chemistry Department; and Lecturer Dr. Thamer Adnan Abdullah, Rapporteur of the Applied Chemistry Department. The main topics addressed included:
• An explanation of the mechanism for creating a Professor account and how to add absences and record formative assessment grades.
• Clarification of students' rights and obligations, in addition to the mechanism for registering academic courses.
At the end of the workshop, the scientific outcomes and challenges faced by the students were discussed. The dialogue was fruitful and contributed valuable scientific insights for the students.
The workshop was attended by department members and staff from the Applied Chemistry Department.
