The vision and goals

The vision:
The Branch of laser attempts to be a significant branch to prepare qualified and specialized staff in laser and other topics related to laser science and its applications to serve the university and society.

The message:
To prepare scientific staff that depends on the applied and technical aspects and high level of education to be compatible with the national and global quality standards throughout conducting research and studies, also providing consultation to serve the university and the local and provincial society.

The goals:
• Improve the career capabilities of the students by directing their creativity and analysing thinking.
• Develop the educational and administrative methods to achieve the branch's vision and message.
• Develop and improve the capabilities of the teaching staff.
• Support the researchers and the postgraduate students in the laser research fields.
• Prepare continuous teaching courses to improve the scientific and practical aspects of the staff and workers in the laser fields.
