The vision and goals

The vision:
The branch aims to be innovative, pioneering, and influential within the Department of Applied Sciences and various Iraqi university departments.

The message:
To prepare scientific staff that depends on the applied and technical aspects and high level of education to be compatible with the national and global quality standards throughout conducting research and studies, also providing consultation to serve the university and the local and provincial society.

The goals:
• The Biotechnology Branch aims to develop and update the curriculum to keep pace with scientific and technological advancements in biotechnology.
• Providing governmental and private sectors with specialized scientific members: The branch seeks to graduate experts specialized in various fields of biotechnology, such as medical, health, industrial, and agricultural technologies.
• Developing research laboratories: It works on equipping laboratories with the latest devices and laboratory materials to enable scientific research.
• Organizing courses, seminars, and scientific workshops: It organizes educational and awareness events to promote modern biotechnologies.
• Developing industrial and medical products using biotechnology aims to improve industrial production and medical diagnostics using biotechnological methods.
