Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani Praises Distinguished Employees on National Employment Day, Emphasizes Public Sector's Role in Implementing Government Priorities Today, Thursday, Prime Minister Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani presided over the annual celebration of National Employment Day, held at the Government Palace in the capital, Baghdad. During the event, 50 distinguished employees from various fields were honored, selected by specialized committees for their exceptional performance. Mr. Al Sudani praised the distinguished employees who have worked hard and earned their recognition, stating that this selection of male and female employees proves the strength of Iraqis, their principles, confidence, and positive energy. He emphasized that the martyr who sacrificed his life for Iraq and the Iraqi people remains the foremost distinguished individual. His Excellency also commended the initiative to honor outstanding employees and appreciated the efforts of the concerned committee and all those who contributed to this initiative, which highlights the capabilities of public sector employees and dispels negative stereotypes about them. It sheds light on the dedicated, efficient, productive, and honest employee, noting that there are many other outstanding employees who perform their duties with dedication and high efficiency. The Prime Minister referred to the stories of the distinguished employees, which deserve attention and enhance trust in government employees, especially those who have turned challenging circumstances into success, distinction, and dedication in public service. He mentioned an example of a person with disabilities who excelled in programming, and a visually impaired student in Al-Shatra who surpassed her health conditions, demonstrating a case of creativity we should be proud of. Mr. Al Sudani touched on the crucial and fundamental role of the public sector in nation-building and its role in implementing the government's program and priorities, as well as its importance in improving the country's status in all fields. He pointed out that Iraq is witnessing the highest growth rate in the region, and the government sector must fulfill its duties in this regard. He confirmed that the government has made significant progress in less than two years in addressing challenges across all sectors, as our country possesses natural and human resources, some of which have yet to be utilized. Instructions for applicants for the competitive exam at the College of Applied Sciences for the academic year 2024-2025: 1- Arrive half an hour before the scheduled time of the competitive exam, knowing that the exam starts at 9:00 AM and seating is according to the map announced on the college's website. 2- Bring the electronic form downloaded from the account in the system. 3- Bring a valid identification document such as a civil status card or a unified national ID. Otherwise, the applicant will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. 4- Proceed to the scientific departments for an interview after completing the competitive exam. 5- Answers must be written with a blue or black ballpoint pen only.
